Eastern Slope
The Eastern Slope neighborhood may be the perfect setting for those who want views over useable yard space. Much like the Upper Tyner area, the lots here can be quite large, but also quite steep.
There are many benefits, however. The views of the lake are picturesque and there are many cul-de-sacs that offer fantastic mountain privacy. Its close proximity to Diamond Peak Ski Resort, the Championship Golf Course, and convenient access to the Mount Rose Highway are several other benefits that make this area almost as attractive as the views of the lake.
With an elevation of 6,500 to 7,000’, this area gets a significant amount of snow in the winter, however thanks to its sunny exposure, it melts quickly.
The Eastern Slope offers serene forest settings, many adjoining vacant U.S. Forest Service parcels, rushing year-round creeks and rushing streams. Homes tend to be on the 6,000 to 10,000 square foot range, so there are some large luxury properties.
Active residential homes for sale in this subdivision have a price tag starting at around $480,000 and can run up to $7M. There are approximately 222 single-family homes in the Eastern Slope.
